Sorrie for the super bright light shining across your screen!! This is not full moon..... It's a full apple! Ha! AIWO translated in Chinese is 爱我! So what is this all about? It's about food again my dear blog readers ~ A Health Food Spa (a new concept here in Singapore). Happened to read about this new place in a local food magazine. I was surprised the price is pretty reasonable for such "high-clazz" themed restaurant. Deco is pretty, with warm lightings and cozy velvet-like chairs. My 1st impression of AIWO's service staff wasn't very good. While standing @ the entrance taking a quick glance @ the menu, a lady service staff kept standing beside us and "pressurizing" us, even after I told her we will let her know once we decide. It totally made me felt uncomfy and a little too pushy kinda customer service (though she wasn't talking and just stood there looking @ us while we decide).
Take a look @ this. It's not a display showcase. Infact, it's a compartment to contain cutleries and customers can pick them up when they need it. It's basically part of the dining table (good space saving idea!). The waiter even came and told us we can use them when he saw us not eating... we were actually in a chatty and relazed mood & thus not in a hurry to start eating when the food were served. He must have thought we are stupid enough not to know that! We are intelligent people, okay! *wink* So much of the intro, now take a look @ the super healthy food we ordered. We had mushroom crepes and herbed chicken crepes for a really late dinner @ 9.30pm. When our order came, we were kindly informed by the waiter they will closed @ 10pm. Oh how great, isn't it! i had to try to eat fast, yet gracefully and not get chocked by my favourite mushrooms. The price is around $15+ for per order.
Calories of every single food items are clearly stated in the menu, and if you are super health conscious, you had better keep your eyes on those vegetarian items which have super low calories. As for taste, I think it's pretty blend. But for novelty sake, why not! It's a different place to dine in and atmosphere is good. It's located @ level 2 of Raffles City Shopping Centre, at a corner. Just look out for the Apple AIWO logo.
I happened to notice the wordings printed on the sachet of sugar and thought it was quite silly and redundant! "Made from sugar, so it taste like sugar". So in that case, they should also indicate for the crepes that we ordered..... made with mushrooms / chicken, so it taste like mushrooms / chicken!
Finally, to end.... Here's a pic of us! "Posie Posie" for the camera. By the way, anyone who wishes to adopt us as pets, please kindly feed us well! We are constantly craving for new delicious exotic food! Thanks, ya!
