I turned 30 le. 3 dollars no change liao...not even 1 cent. But I still have the Peter Pan Syndrome in me ;p See how the candles melt..... simply refuse to blow them and kept snapping pics until cannot wait anymore!!! I made a wish for things to be better and happier after this bday and in 2009. Hanging out with good friends during this festive December definitely lighten things alot... and forgetting unhappy totz. Took many pics of happy moments and always nice to look at them when I'm abit down.
Tat nite's dinner was pretty enjoyable. Been a while since I last saw my buddy, pirate and ah ben. Both pirate and mae's hair grew really long le. Pirate got the ah ne ne curls coming out le. Tink both of them grow longer hair for their wedding studio shoot. Whilst 4mi, my hair is getting shorter and shorter. Find it more carefree and light-weight (sounded like some characteristics of feminine pdts :) Anyway, we went to this place @ novena, called GLOBETROTTERS. Ha.. our england very 烂 coz we tot this restaurant only serve pig trotters. One of the waiters told us the name of the restaurant is a word that can be found in the dictionary; means one who travels around the world. LoL. We are plain ignorant! At least we learn a new word, alritey :) And u noe wat... while we were enjoying my bday cake, suddenly a piece of blackish brownish stuff flew from dono where the hell....onto my arm, near my elbow. Instantly i 弹 it away and it landed on the seat btn me and mae. I was in a state of shock and disbelief. Who the hell 弹 "Pi Sai" to me!!! 1st person i suspect was pirate coz he was diagonally across where I'm sitting. He swore it's not him coz he didn't dig his nose. But i told everyone tat piece of "gold" was dried up de, so probably it's oredi outside the nose area, so juz a simple 弹 and it will fly very far!!! Pirate picked up the "gold" with serviette and examined it and confirmed there's nostril hair on it. HOLY..... HOW DISGUSTING CAN THIS GET! OH LORD..... HALLELUJAH!!! We eventually concluded that the piece of "gold" was from the table behind us. Shit.. they left oredi. I swore i wld have stood up and confronted them! Grghh...

Thank you my dearest mates for celebrating my bday. No McD party or Kidz Meal, but this gathering was good enuf. I got many lovely pressies and loved them all. Hmnn.. Let me recall what i received all in all for this year's bday:

Side track abit... This flower was nicely placed @ the corner of our table, and within seconds after we sat down, pirate pig added pepper into the vase of water. Poor flower...
The nite ended with a funie muvee BOLT. Super Bark.... Super Stare... We watched the 3D version; issued a pair of 3D shades and to be returned @ end of muvee, otherwise $70 penalty wooh! The morale of the story.... we do not nid superpowers to do good stuff or help others.

Our Family x'mas gathering... We got a small x'mas tree cake to celebrate my bday as well. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone loh. Kidz are always excited about pressies and blowing candles, so they all swamp ard me to take pics. It was a simple dinner with many yummie home-cooked dishes by mummy and we all relaz, chat, and play with the kidz. It's a no-fuss T-shirt and shorts weekend and no makeup day coz @ home mah.
X'mas eve. Kinda wet weather and me and ah ben walked all the way hunting for the dinner place. The restaurant had shifted to a new location and we din noe. So called the restaurant and I tink the servers are Philippinos, so their slang was kinda cannot understand coz they used too much "tongue". "We are @ your 4 o'clock... 7 clock.. gold color bldg... beside starbucks". Grggh....I was @ another starbucks, which i tot was "tat" starbucks. Sidetrack... do u noe starbucks is call 星巴克 in mandarin? Quite stylo name hor. Hey... let's mit @ 星巴克 for kopi ley. Wonder if anyone will noe wat u r referring to?!
Eventually, we all gathered @ the restaurant b4 7pm. Food was easy to order coz they have dinner-for-2 menu. Unbelievable cheap; only $32.90 for 2 paxs. Includes 1 pasta, 1 pizza, 2 soup, 1 basket of chicken wings & garlic bread, and 2 glasses of lemonade. I rate this place 4 WoW outta 5 ah. Most x'mas dinners coz above $60. Where to find such cheap place and no crowd. The x'mas deco and ambience was warm and nice. Loved it! Servers were friendly and very "on the ball" probably coz there were no other customers. Tink only 2 other tables were occupied but they left b4 us (though they arrived later than us). Tink after we left, the restaurant close shop le. HaHa. Ooh..1 more ting, the warm and soft brownie with vanilla ice-cream is very good. 5 WoW ah! Dun order with choc ice-cream, coz wun taste as good. Pirate initially ordered one with choc, later to realise everybody else wanted vanilla. Ha... very 自做聪明hor.

We planned the evening well with activities... we rushed to KTV after dinner, and then for a midnite muvee. Actually me & mae din sang much... pirate & ah ben hogged on the mic most of the time. We din mind though, coz we prefer to look @ our pressies and taking pics :)
