Looking @ my finger nail self-inflicted 2cm wound on my right thumb, I wondered how i had ended up with this cut. Perhaps was tossing in bed yesterday and had some violent dreams / cat fight with someone I wanted to hurt in reality! Ha ;p
Anyway, this evening went to do a little retail therapy. Went to a usual shop and spend about 30mins there... Quite drama mama.... the shop owner and her assistant. They were so engrossed in patronizing this customer whom claimed to be wearing size of XS so many times and claimed that she dun exercise.. infact she eats and sleep immediately most of the time! Here's more of the conversation:
Lady Boss: Aiyoh... Ti Gong 很照顾你啊！吃了就睡，还不会胖！要是我啊，吃了都不敢睡。。。还要站着烫衣服， 消化才可以啊！！！
Self Claimed Size XS Customer: Flattered! On cloud Nine! Continues to shop, and kana dump more clothes and pants to try! Her bf was there too... looked younger than her!
Lady Boss + her assistant: 美女！美女！很瘦啊！穿什么都美！这件好看。。。那件白裤也很好看。。。Zara 的 Design leh！
I was totally ignored... Thank GOD or I should thank Ti Gong instead for giving someone else the attention for the evening ;p
Hmn... when making payment for my mere 36bucks pants, I took a close look @ "Self Claimed Size XS Customer", she looked much more "meatier" than me. How can she be XS.. OMG! I conclude she muz be wearing a corset underneath those clothes. And she got a huge head and heavy permed hair and thick makeup! UGLY! Anyway, her total damage for the day was around 350bucks. Amazing Sales Techniques hur!
I proceeded to another store, of which I know the shop owner and her sister are more real and not at all pushy. They show you dresses, recommend them, and if you dun want, they will shut up. I will pick up whatever i fancy and try them, allow them to give some suggestions on what goes well with the dresses / tops. Finally I make payment for the selected pieces.
I bought a silver satin dress from this store :) It has got outstanding shiny multi-coated acrylic buttons (crystals look-alike), and a belt with 2 sewed-on flower buds. See how I display it.. hanging on my huge white build-in wardrobe! It stretches across the entire room. HeeHee.... Not all mine lah.. 1/2 belongs to sis.
Counting down... 14 week days before i abandon ship. Looking forward to a couple of farewell makans / outings I might have.. with Mich, ex boss TC, badminton mates... Then enjoy a few days break before embarking on a new journey with a real stat board! Ha.. Ironic... All along with a fake stat board! No regrets though! Anyway, still got 2 events to coordinate b4 "ORD". Sometimes tink I'm an events, rather than HR person here. Take pics /video of corporate events / usher / Emcee... My last event would be Emcee for our SeaView Chalets Grand Opening next Thurs. I just got my script today. Doves will be released... Amazed! Full Dress Rehearsal on SAF Day, for all involved personnel, and birds ;p Almost like NDP... Hope it'll be fun, somehow!
