HurrAY.... I have eventually, and finally got my own digicam! I bought this @ the Suntec IT Show today. Awesome! I have tested a few shots and itz really sharp and good colors.
However, the CROWD heading towards Suntec was scarie... jam packed..... I should have taken a few pics of the CROWD and post it. Regardless of race, religion, age, and nationality... So many people swarm their way to Suntec Convention Halls. I saw Angmos at the Suntec carparks, and then I also saw Ah Neh Neh happily leaving Suntec with their BIG BIG LCD PLASMA TVs. Bridges connecting to Suntec; I saw people moving inches by inches up the escalator, making their way across to Suntec. Then big headache for people who drive there; all nearby carparks were all FULL! OMG... I hate crowds and I pity drivers having to make turns round and round Suntec area, trying hard to find parking spaces. Anyhow, I went there with a purpose.... So hacK lah.. Juz get my digi and go! *p.s. I got bodyguard clearing the pathways for me*

Though she wasn't my 1st choice..... coz from reviews and specs comparison, I initially was planning to look @ CANON IXUS series of cams. CASIO was in one of my list of other brands to consider coz I have used this brand but of a much older 7mpx model, for my Taiwan Trip. Anyway, having had a good hands-on experience of touch and test of the live set and bombing the sales guy with plenty of questions, I eventually settled for her.... Yes! My New Toy ;)

EX-S10 is the latest model; selling @ retail price of $499 (no IT Show Discount)
Sales guy told me there isn't much variation / improvement to this model, so I can save the $100 and settle for EX-S880. So I bought her (*_^). I love IT gadgets, anyway... be it Hi-Fi System, Home Theatre System, etc... So friends, head down to IT Show. It'll be ongoing till end of this weekend; Sunday 9 March '08.

My Favourite SHIOK Sushi ~ Smoked Salmon+Avocado+Eel, with melted-down Japanese Mayo, and complete with generous portion of fish roe as toppings.

WOW.. finally! S$399 is dirt cheap for a 8.1mp cam. but i'm not sure whether casio is gd. my fren has 1, but i still prefer my lumix or cybershot! =p
aiyoh... dun say until dirt cheap lah. Itz my hard earned $ through humble means, k. Beautiful lies in the eye of the beholder.... Different brands appeals to different ppl. I'll play with it more, then can tell if itz good or not:)
cheap as in the price u were paying for a 8.1mp cam & bundled wif so many freebies! my fren bought her ixus in the IT show, she paid S$599 for 8mp cam. tats y i said urs is really cheap loh.
oic...indeed! I was also @ the CANON booth doing comparisons. Felt that we are paying for their extensive publicity on prints, online, and their IT Show BIG BIG booth all together! $599 for a 8 mpx is considered a normal retail price. Anyway, itz up to individuals lah. :)
