A fun event i took part in, on 24 November 2007. A one day trip to JB, for outdoor fun, inclusive of PaintBall Team Based Game, and Go-Kart.
That Saturday started as early as 6am for me; travel to Novena Square where the coach picked all of us up. I was all geared in long sleeve top and cargo pants with army prints. It was a right choice of clothings coz when we reached the PaintBall venue (almost jungle like), mosquitoes, i mean huge ones.. were looking for preys and almost everyone got "attacked" and started scratching all over. The rounds of games were nerve wrecking in the beginning, but as we got to the 3rd rounds, it became more fun and daring.... Aimed to show your enemies "some colors". Boyy.. was i lucky.. among the 3 whom, at the end of the games, did not get hit by the color bullets. The rest of my friends all got stained clothes or even on faces and parts of the skin.
After a quick lunch @ one of a local chinese restaurant, we headed for an hour of shopping in JUSCO, Tebrau City. Things are pretty cheap there. Brand names like ELLE, LEVIS, and BATA, are way much cheaper compared to SG. Too bad, time was too short for me to do some serious shopping. We had to rush for an evening Go-Kart experience. The Go-Kart in JB is Asia's largest track; occupies about 9 hectares and has a 1.31km circuit, where many competitive events are held and we saw a few professional racers zooming round the tracks which made me really nervous. That tot eventually made me gave up trying a round of Go-Kart. Yes.. im CHICKEN.... Damn.... Should have tried it. It's cheap too, compared to the baby track here in SG (@ Taman Jurong). Imagine... with 14 turns & 2 straights, the tracks allow ample opportunities for fun rides and over-taking (ensure suspense & thrill throughout). And best of all u only pay Ringgit 35 dollars.
Go-Kart Track... Ed Zooming Pass... Ha!Anyway, most importantly, managed to broaden my social circle... know a group of new friends, and glad that a few of us are still keeping in touch, and hanging out for movies and dinners.
