Hi people,Here's a movie review from seabiscuit. It's been a while since i watched a movie like this... So simple yet touches the heart. The soundtracks goes so well with the show and now still lingering in my mind. U got me... bet girls are like that..... cun get enuf of this genre of lovey dovey kinda movie. *seabiscuit listening to all the soundtracks now while blogging.... reminisce every little details of the movie.*
Music is like sex... then comes the lyrics... which is the content of getting to know each other. Interesting way of describing love / relationship. That was a quote by Sophie Fisher (played by Drew Barrymore) when she was discussing this new song; helping Alex Flecher (played by Hugh Grant) to complete the lyrics for a singer Cora Corman (almost like the impersonation of britney spears; with that heavy sexy appeal). It is interesting to look at all the different casts and how they make this movie alive.
Alex Flecher, he himself belong to a POP group singer back in the 80s. See the b/w checkered poster of him and his other 3 bandmates. Hillarious... those dance moves of him shaking his "bon bon".. So retro... Kinda reminded me of PRINCE... an old time singer back then.... a gay, rite?!! if anyone remembered him!
I shan't say much...... You really gotta experience this yourself. I watched it @ Shaw, Prince Theatre... 99% empty.. so can imagine how much privacy you can get... laugh and giggle all you want, yah!!!
Find out more from these 2 website, and to listen to the list of soundtracks (demo only). My favourites are:
Way back into love.............. Love autopsy.......... Dun write me off..........Dance with me tonight.....

The songs sounded so raw and clean (w/o much touchup)... so simple with lyrics and the accompanying piano only. Hugh Grant sang them really well I must say and of coz he got his charms. Drew Barrymore did good too. They both looked much better as they aged; like wine... ;)
